Here are some pictures of a red Chloe Paddington Bag and a blue one. Which one is a fake ?

You can clearly see differences (especially the leather).
The red one has smooth leather one, the blue one has more aspect of aged leather, not smooth at all.

Unfortunately, here is the kind of problem you will have with a fake :

A friend of mine bought the red bag on Ebay (with dustbag, authenticity card, etc.) and used it less than 10 times... It is already falling in pieces !!!

The leather of the genuine Chloe Paddington bags is a pure dream... as buttered, aged, so soft. It is really a high quality. So, girls, don't be fooled by the fake ones. You will only lose money as you will buy a bag for a few hundred dollars that will last 2 months maybe and then... you won't even be able to resell it. Or, if you do want to buy a stupid fake, at least buy it on a chinese website. You will pay 100$ for the very same bag that is sold on eBay for 400$ or more.

With a real one, you will have a gorgeous bag for years and will be able to resell it whenever you want.That's why you should take care of your bags ladies :-)... Put it in the dustbag bag and fulled it with paper if you don't want to use it for a long time. A good bag keeps its value.

I hope it will help you... there are so many fakes on Ebay, it makes me sick. 

First Question :

Is a bag sold with a serial number and a card of authenticity necessarily genuine ? 

No, no and no !!! Quite all the fakes are sold with that kind of stuff !! The serial number, the card of authenticity as well as the dust bags or the holograms are probably the easiest and cheapest details to copy !

Still worse, the new trend of chinese counterfeits makers is to provide also fake invoices from stores !

Actually, it is quite hard to differentiate the authentic items from the fakes. But you can significantly decrease the risk by following these pieces of advices and rules :

•  Usually, a honest seller will publish a lot of detailed photos illustrating the announcement, with a very complete description. For instance, the main difference between a fake and an authentic bag is the quality of the leather : a honest seller will certainly take very close pictures of the bag, allowing you to look carefully at the details.

• Usually, a honest seller clearly answers to your questions. And he isn't angry because you asked him a question... If he seems aggressive, ask yourself why ? Is he sure of the quality of its items ?

• Usually, a honest seller has an excellent return policy and suggests paying you off NOT if you are not satisfied (you can be satisfied when thinking you bought a real) BUT if the bag is not authentic... This makes a real big difference.

• Search on Google for the bag you want. You will find many websites selling fakes, especially Chinese sites. Take a look !!! And look carefully at the pictures. A lot of sellers who are selling fakes have just the same pictures on their eBay announce...  They even don't spend a few minutes to take their own photos ! Please note, even if it sounds incredible, that there are many powersellers among these lazy swindlers !!!

• Is the same serial number as another one model ? Beware !!! Each modele (colour, size, leather) is defined by a serial number.
  

• The best way to see if a bag is authentic or not is to look carefully at the authentic (if possible in stores) AND fake ones. You'll see, with time, you will soon be able to recognize some details you can't see now. With practice you will learn a lot. And save a lot of money.
  

• Ask the seller a full refund policy if the bag is not real. Once you have it, go to the boutique to authentify it.  If you can't go to a store, at least you can call and ask if the serial number matches a real one.

I can't understand something, so maybe you could help me.

There are so many fakes bags and clothes selling on Ebay and so many people on chat, blogs that are angry to see that they bought a fake. Do these girls honestly believe that they are buying a real Chanel at 200$ ???
Or is it a huge bad faith ?

I spoke yesterday with a girl on a blog. She bought Dior sunglasses for 15 Euros ( !!! ), went to a Dior Boutique and was surprised when a seller told her that the sunglasses were fakes...

I have some questions from buyers asking me where they can find fakes. Well, they aren't ashamed to try being someone else. But what about the others ??? Do they really think that Chanel make a bag for 100$ and sell it 1500$ ??? Really, I can't understand.

Everybody knows the Chloe Paddington Bags... They are so beautiful and amazing.

I am totally crazy about this color... so gorgeous with jeans... so unique !!! Very rare and hard to find !!

Marni is one of my favourite designer. First time I saw the Consuelo Castiglioni 's collection, well... I didnt' like it.
But when I went to a Marni Boutique, I tried some tops and skirts and was impressed by the creativity of this woman. And now, I am really crazy about this brand.

Why ? You can wear a top in so many different ways and have different styles with the same clothes.

Consuelo realized the dream of every woman : you adapt the product how you like but you don't have to adapt yourself to Marni. It is very difficult to do for a brand.

Could you adapt a Chanel jacket ?
Of course, not !! When you wear Chanel, you are a Coco girl (and it is so great to be a Chanel girl), but to have some products in your wardrobe you can play with, it is essential, don't you think ???

Today, one of my friend called me and asked if I could find for her a Hermes Birkin Black Togo bag with palladium hardware... I searched, went to Hermes Boutique, called some of my friends... but nothing !!!

I then had a look at Ebay and saw a powerseller ( !!! ) selling one.

I contacted him, asked for more pictures. Sorry for the boring story, but here you won't find it boring anymore.
So, I get the pictures and went on a website selling fakes (chinese but not only chinese websites allow you to order fakes... I will give more information about it in a forthcoming post) ... And what did I see ????
The VERY SAME PICTURES !!!! He even didn't spend time to take pictures of the bag by himself...

I re-contacted the buyer but he didn't respond, of course...

Here are some pictures of the bag with ALL tags, code number, stamped J for 2006, Hermes Made in Paris.... well, everything. As you can see, the bag is not standing very clearly... Do you see what I mean ?? And look at the interior of the bag... Isn't the leather too shiny ??
It seems elementary...but look carefully at pictures and you will begin to see many interesting things !!

Trust sellers that promise 100% authentic or MONEY BACK and as soon as you receive your bag, go to a store to authentify it...

I observed that many power sellers are selling for years...fakes... So I will never say it too many times : AUTHENTIFY YOUR BAG !!!!
